The Community Meeting was for the purposes of presenting the potential of creating a vision for projects beyond the Signage and Trails Visions created during the Citizens' Institute on Rural Design™.

Participants evaluated five Categories of Projects:

  • Operational Needs
  • Economic and Community Development
  • New Recreational Facilities,
  • New Facilities, and
  • Improving Existing Trails, Recreation and Heritage Facilities

Community participants were asked the following questions about Projects included each Category

  • What are the Economic Effects of these categories? How does it bring jobs and/or retain jobs in the community?
  • How does it contribute to Community Health and Safety?
  • How does it improve the Quality of Life? How does this make Limon more appealing?
  • What are the Concerns or Threats about this category?
  • What Other Items should be included in this category?
